Today, three titles have been revealed as parts of the Mobile Suit Gundam 35th Anniversary Project: Mobile Suit Gundam UC episode 7, Gundam Reconguista in G, and Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin.

■ Mobile Suit Gundam UC episode 7 (in theaters May 17th, 2014)


The seventh and final entry in the Mobile Suit Gundam UC series of hour-long OVAs, based on author Harutoshi Fukui's hit novels of the same name, will arrive in theaters, on streaming, and in a special exclusive theatrical Blu-ray edition on May 17th. The standard Blu-ray and DVD releases will be available June 6th.



■ Gundam Reconguista in G (Fall 2014)


Gundam Reconguista in G, the long-awaited new Gundam series by Director Yoshiyuki Tomino himself, is set in the "Regild Century" era which follows Mobile Suit Gundam's "Universal Century". It focuses on the adventures of Berli Xenam, a pilot cadet in the "Capital Guard" which protects a space elevator. (* Names subject to change.)

■ Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin I: Aoi Hitomi no Casval (event screenings in Spring 2015)


Mobile Suit Gundam character designer and animation director Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin comics have sold over ten million volumes, and are now being adapted to anime!
"Char Aznable", the man who would become Zeon's "Red Comet", and his sister "Sayla Mass" - what tragedy led them down their paths in life? The four-episode "Char/Sayla arc", depicting the wrenching change to their lives after the sudden death of their father, Spacenoid leader Zeon Deikun, will appear in theaters beginning in the Spring of 2015.
