Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73 Stargazer hits Blu-ray on March 22nd, 2012!

Bandai Visual will release the Gundam SEED OVA "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73 Stargazer" on Blu-ray Disc March 22nd, 2013.
The limited edition will be priced at ¥6,300, with a standard edition available for ¥5,250.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73 Stargazer, a 2006 OVA, was directed by Susumu Nishizawa (Hikaru no Go) and written by Shigeru Morita (Space Brothers, Lagrange -The Flower of Rin-ne). Mechanical designs were provided by Kunio Ogawara (MObile Suit Gundam), with character designs by Kenichi Oonuki (Hakuouki Sekkaroku),
Set in the Cosmic Era world of the Gundam SEED and SEED DESTINY TV series, It tells a tale from a new perspective.

The limited edition will feature Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Red Frame & Blue Frame, 11 minutes of trailers, and a brand-new audio commentary track. Also included is a special liner note booklet.

■ Story
Amidst the howl of the air raid sirens, we watched incomparable tragedy envelop Earth... C.E. 73.
The shockwave caused by ZAFT's drop of Junius Seven destroyed cities, caused tsunamis which swallowed entire populations, and scarred the planet forever.
Amidst the terror and chaos, a single mobile suit gazes up at the stars, awaiting its launch. The pure-white "Stargazer"' is accompanied by DSSD mobile suit researcher Selene McGriff, who dreams of the heavens.
Meanwhile, Sven Cal Bayang, pilot of the Strike Noir in the Earth Alliance's Phantom Pain unit, sees nothing above but a pall of black smoke.
Gazing from opposite sides, neither could yet see the stars.
