75 of Japan's most famous hobby companies will gather under one roof at the 52nd Shizuoka Hobby Show, held from May 16th through the 19th at Twin Messe Shizuoka. The general publis is admitted free on May 18th and 19th.
At the show, 75 major manufacturers of model kits, RC cars, and model trains will announce their newest products.
May 18th and 19th, open to the public, will feature the 24th Modelers Club exhibition of enthusiasts' best works from across Japan. The first 1,000 visitors each day will also receive a free model kit.
At Bandai's booth, you'll be able to catch the announcement of this summer's hottest MG, see July's RG 1/144 RX-78GP01 GP01 Gundam Zephyrantes and RX-78GP01Fb GP-01 Fullburner, and check out the newest Mobile Suit Gundam UC, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, and BB Senshi kits.
If that's not enough, there are also plenty of other must-see events like the announcement of this year's Gunpla Builders World Cup rules.
