Mobile Suit Gundam Online OBT is almost here! Find out what's in the newest update!

Mobile Suit Gundam Online will enter its open beta test (OBT) at 5:00 PM on December 19th. Here's what you can look forward to in OBT!

During the open beta test, anyone can try out an in-game experience upgraded with the results of previous tests that's close to what will be available upon release.
OBT player data will also carry over to launch, so this is a great chance to play!




■ New map: "Cliffs of Odessa" Time passes to evening, then night!
Along with the existing Odessa City, the OBT adds a new Cliffs of Odessa map,
The south is a harbor perfect for marine mobile suits, while the north is a massive structure that can be fought inside. In between are trenches, so tactics need to be adapted for each terrain.
Time changes have also been implemented, with Evening and Night as well as Day. What influence will this have on suit colors?

■ Unit balance changes with weapon weight!
Weight, already a factor in boosting, now also affects balance.
Along with basic stats, a balance rating derived from weapon weight will affect evasion and more, balancing weapon choice away from a race for the biggest gun. With damage to downed units added in OBT, balance will be more important than ever.

■ Put your own personal spin on your unit! Trait enhancements added!
Unit traits, rolled randomly during development, were previously fixed, but now "trait enhancement" can be performed at the cost of another set of plans.
Customize a unit and burn useless plans, all at once!

■ Count down to the OBT live!
To celebrate the OBT, we're inviting guests and press to a countdown event at 3:00 PM on December 19th!
The event will include a game introduction, a battle viewable from three different cameras, and a countdown to OBT.
