It's here! Part 2 of our feature on Mobile Suit Gundam AGE Universe Accel?Cosmic Drive for PSP!
Part 2 plays through the opening stages of the game, plus passwords to unlock Decil Galette and the Ciela Khronos!
Namco Bandai Games released Mobile Suit Gundam AGE for the PSP® in Universe Accel and Cosmic Drive versions on August 30th!
Players can adventure through the world of Mobile Suit Gundam AGE in this RPG, and live out Flit, Asemu, and Kio's stories in full!
In part 1, we showed the basics of the game. This time, we'll plat through the first stages of Universe Accel.

As you progress through the story, details differing from the TV series will draw you into an alternate take on the world of Gundam AGE.

The game begins with an anime opening.
The opening theme is "Red Decision", performed by Faylan, singer of the opening theme to Kio's arc. As the AGE Device is passed down from parent to child, the epic story about to unfold is evoked.

The first chapter, "Saviour Gundam", is set in the space colony Nora.
Just like in the TV show, Flit Asuno sees the news of a UE attack and sets out ot meet up with his friend Emily.

During story segments, the player can move around the map and talk with other characters.
You can talk with passers-by in the street just as easily as Commander Bruzar or Vargas.

And now, the mission begins! The earliest stages inclue mini-tutorials.
The ? button fires the main ranged weapon. Holding it charges a more powerful attack.
? melees. Move the analog slider toward the foe while pressing for a stronger attack. Melee combos can extend to up to three attacks.

Your first weapons, the Beam Dagger and Beam Spray Gun, are so weak as to be nearly unusable.

Now you can use the "Lamp Burst".
While holding R, press left and right to select your Battle Skill and while still holding R press ? to display the Lamp Circle.
Let go of ? when the enemy is in the Lamp Circle to use 1SP and unleash a combo!

You can close in on the enemy while guarding or boost dash in, then use ? to open a melee combo. Once you've gained SP, fire the Lamp Burst!
With these tactics, you can turn a defeat into a victory! Be careful, as guarding doesn't protect you from all damage.

The enemy leader shows up in purple! (there's a cutscene here too!)
Once the mission's over, you receive experience, credits, and parts. Credits and parts can be used to enhance and customize your mobile suit.
