'C3 in Hong Kong 2012', a show featuring Japanese models, anime, games, and comics, was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center from March 9th-11th.
As the place to get the latest info straight from Japan, it's a must-attend event for Hong Kong's hobby and anime fans. Let's look at the Gundam attractions!
Bandai's booth features Gundam AGE (currently airing in Hong Kong), Gundam UC, Gundam SEED, and more! Hong Kong gets Gunpla releases at the same time as Japan, so there were plenty of new releases on display.
Kits like the HGUC Delta Plus (metallic ver.) were for sale, and just as popular!
There was also a booth for Gundam Front Tokyo, opening April 19th in Odaiba. Photos of the 1:1 Gundam already under construction, as well as life-sized characters to pose for snapshots with, were on display.
Sunrise's booth showed the latest Gundams! Each series drew a crowd.
Plenty of Gundam goods were on display and for sale, just like in Japan. There were even a few Hong Kong-exclusive items!
Namco Bandai Games had playable Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. cabinets on display. The game, still in location testing in Japan, drew long lines on day 3.
Actors and artists also participated in on-stage events, pleasing the local crowds.
