Gunpla Builders World Cup 2011 World Championship
to be held December 25th in Hong Kong
The national and regional champs advance to a final showdown!
The 'Gunpla Builders World Cup 2011' is Bandai Co., Ltd.'s (President Kazunori Ueno, headquarters in Taito Ward, Tokyo, Japan) first official tournament of Gunpla building technique, painting, and concept. Worldwide preliminaries began in July of this year, and now, each area has selected its representative.
The World Championship, to be held on December 25th, will feature 10 entries from the Junior Course (entrants 14 years and younger) and 12 entries from the Open Course, for a total of 22 entries. On the day of the Championship, four judges will scrutinize each of the entries and select first through third place winners in each division.

Schedule: Judging: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Awards Ceremony: 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM (HKT)
Judging: The 10 Junior Course and 12 Open Course finalists will be judged at this time. A four-member panel composed of model magazine editors and Bandai judging staff will judge each entry's construction, painting, and concept on a 10-point scale, and choose first through third place winners in each division.
